After updating my Sense to 44.128.6.12 (5.3) I am having weird issues

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my FitBit sense to the latest version.  (I did this upgrade yesterday) and I am getting VERY weird and odd behavior.  I have restarted the FitBit multiple times, and I have re-paired it with my phone.

What I am experiencing:

1. I can no longer set a workout.  For example, I will select a workout, and it will try to start and then it just goes back to the select a workout screen.  (This is being done on the Sense)

2. Weather looks "weird".  I.E. it will have a whole bunch of jumbled words on it.

3. When I go to set an alarm, the text is very weird.

4.  When my alarm goes off, it looks very, very weird and has a series of numbers and letters on it.

This is what it looks like:

I am not sure what this means, but the only troubleshooting I have not done is a factory reset.

I am thinking the firmware did not get fully updated and my FitBit is having a tough time.

Can someone weigh in on this?

Thank you!

If you do a factory reset, make sure you’ve synced before doing the reset.

Have you tried a restart , an easy first step for any problem, and does not cause any data loss.

"Press and hold the button* for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button."

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @JohnnyRow , yes.  I have shutdown and restarted multiple times.

Same issue persists.

I did a factory reset, this seemed to correct it.

Shouldn't have to do a factory reset to install firmware, but *shrug*, it seemed to correct the issue.
