Alexa not available on Amazon.co.uk account

I am based in UK, so use amazon.co.uk. When I try to set up Alexa on my Sense it defaults to an amazon.com account. I don’t have this. How to I set it up to be amazon.co.uk?

Ill be the first one to admit I don’t fully understand how but I did dig around a bit and found this thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Other-Versa-Smartwatches/Not-able-to-get-through-Amazon-Login-in-set.... I’m wondering if a reinstall would work for you as well as the moderator eludes to in his last post. 
🤔 Do you happen to have the Amazon App installed directly on your phone? I know the “trick” to get the Set up of Alexa on Fitbit is to do it with the Amazon App (that’s on your phone) deleted first THEN go through the set up of Alexa. Once it’s all setup you can simply reinstall the Amazon App back directly onto your phone. 
I will keep my eyes open if I find any further information that might help.

Thanks @SunsetRunner . It worked… or at least 'something' worked, just not sure what. I did delete the Amazon app from my phone and restarted the fitbit then re-setup the Alexa Voice assist app and voila! thanks again. @jurathedog
