Alexa speaking French but I set it up to English

I use Amazon Alexa as the voice assistant on my Sense   I have confirmed that my app is in English, watch set to English, the assistant in the app is set to English and the device is set to English in the "Alexa Amazon" app.  When I hold down the button on the side - the words show as English.  I attempt to ask Alexa to do something and Alexa speaks French.  Half the screen is in French and the other half is in English.  Never understands me in either French or English.

 

Anyone have any idea how I can have Alexa/Fitbit/Sense make a commitment to 1 language?

 

I'm ready to launch the thing between the Franglish, not counting floors correctly, and not counting steps correctly.

Hi @LNAC,

 

I don't know if this will work or not, but have you tried disconnecting the voice assistant and then reconnecting it?  I'm just trying to see if there might be a communication issue between the apps.
