Android Circular Widget Blinking

I have the circular widget installed on my Google Pixel 3. For the past few weeks, the widget blinks. I did a factory reset on my phone last night for an unrelated reason, and when I got my phone back up and running, it's still blinking. 

 

Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions as to how to fix it?

I use it on my Pixel 3 and have not had any issues.
