Another inaccurate heart monitoring complaint

I upgraded to Sense from the original Versa - which seemed consistently accurate in measuring HR during workouts - mainly for the added GPS function, but thought the additional sensors would be cool as well.  I'm finding that workouts that I'm certain (though quick 10 sec manual counts) that I'm in the 130s - 160s that the Sense is generally reading no higher than 90s and low 100s. Not only that, but t isn't even trending properly:  a hard finish to a workout today that would be peaking my HR is showing a downward trend in the time-graph instead of upward.

I've hard reset and I've factory reset, I've flipped to the other side of my wrist, I've tightened, I've loosened, and I'm not finding it more accurate.

Any suggestions or should I return the Sense and go back to my Versa and live without the GPS (the other sensors honestly seem rather worthless to me without instantaneous read out - Sp02, skin temp, etc.)?

I got mine for the same reasons.  GPS + other sensors which the other sensors are a joke only providing one point of daily reading (unless you pay premium).  I am about to return mine and go back to the versa 2 just for the random button activations.  Have you tried positioning it 1 finger width above the wrist bone.  That is where I got the most accurate consistent readings.

I have the exact same issue. I contacted customer service numerous times, just to be told that they are working on a firmware update to fix the issue. Unfortunately , there is no eta on when the firmware will launched out to everyone. I started contacting customer service since the beginning of December, so I’m hoping we’ll get the firmware update soon.

I'm close to ending my relationship.

I did try to moving the device higher on my wrist, about 1 finger above my wrist bone, and it definitely did seem to track HR better, HOWEVER, now each time I bend my wrist back/flex my forearm, it long presses the button and starts/restarts my exercise timer.  Tried switching arms (not ideal), didn't help.

I get that I can turn off the shortcut button, but why should have to sacrifice one functionality for the other? I paid for both functions.

This thing's been a disaster.
