Any FitBit that receives texts and incoming calls?

I used to have the FitBit Charge 3 and eventually decided to get the Versa 2. After having it a week I returned it as it wasn't working right. I ended up buying a Huawei GT 2 watch which I do like, but it doesn't count the sedentary calories like FitBit does. It also won't work with the My Fitness Pal app I use. I was thinking of going back to the FitBit, but not sure what one. I read on here like most of the Versa's and Sense are still not getting text messages at times. If it's one thing I do like about the Huawei watch it does notify me of texts. Talking through it for calls also works quite well.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a FitBit? Is the Sense any better than the Versa 3?

I get all my text message notifications, whether SMS, WhatsApp, or Facebook Messenger, just fine on my Sense. Voice to text replies are very accurate.

Phone calls aren't great to take on the watch in anything other than a quiet room but it gets the job done. I believe it does have a strong noise/feedback cancelation so you have to be mindful when to talk as of the other person is still speaking, the mic is of and they won't hear you. It makes sense because the speaker and mic are on the same side. I get all my call notifications and for the most part I just cancel from my Sense or answer on my phone if I need to.

Thanks for the information. Part of the reason I took my Versa 2 back was because it didn't seem to be always getting notifications. I didn't know if it was just a defective unit or not. The Huawei watch seems to get them and I've talked through the watch quite well with people. I just like how FitBit does track sedentary calories too. I guess a decision I'll have to decide which is more important.

For notifications, keep in mind that the watch does follow the phones mute and do not disturb settings, which I didn't realize my first week or so. Then I found the setting to always vibrate and I definitely get all the notifications I allow.

Yes good points. My phone with the Versa I know was not on mute or do not disturb, but just didn't seem to work right. Then I've noticed on here other posts with similar or the same issues. But it's good to know that the Sense is at least working. I'll have to sell my Huawei first likely before I switch if I do. Use some of that money to buy another Fitbit. I appreciateI your input on the topic. I was thinking maybe no one was having any luck. 🙂
