Anyone buy the 2-year warranty on any Fitbit trackers? I've been a LONG time user of Fitbit and had about a handful of different versions of it through the last decade, mostly upgrading because I wanted a fancier version. 2 of them died on me outside of the 1 year warranty, 2 of them still work, 1 fell out of my pocket and accidentally run over by my car (oops). I wanted to know if anyone has had experience paying the extra money to extend the warranty to 2 years and if it's easy to get a replacement if you have issues.
So far I've had pretty good luck with Fitbit customer service (*knock on wood*) and they've helped replace faulty ones for me on a few occasions within the 1 year window.
I'm also posting this in the Versa forum as I currently have a Sense that is dying on me but wondering whether to switch back to the Versa line (I don't know if folks look in other forums or not so gonna post it in both). I don't really make use of a lot of the Sense features that the V3 lacks, but I found the V1 worked very well for me. V1 still works, but I literally JUST gave it to my mom to use a few days ago to get her to be more active again.

Hey there @Honulii,
I bought the extended warranty for the Ionic and it was well worth it...
I started with the Fitbit Blaze and had two die, one within the first year and one died outside the one year but in under two and did not have the coverage. That sucked but I stuck with Fitbit for the Ionic. When the screen started to go bad on the Ionic at 18 months and the right button stopped responding shortly after, I was glad I had the coverage because the US customer service response was "while the product appears to have an issue, you're outside of your one year period." The extended coverage carrier was very helpful in pushing the replacement through. Be mindful, if the product is discontinued, you will have to choose a different product. I would have LOVED another Ionic, but I got stuck with the sense because Fitbit no longer supported the Ionic (totally different rant, I'll try to stay focused). Anyhow, I think the coverage was $60 and the deductible was $35, so for under $100 I was able to replace the Ionic with a Sense, saving about $150. I hope this helps!!
