Both my Sense and a friend of mine have found both our watches came with their backs covered with fine scratches. Is this just rough, poor handling during assembly? Looks like an expensive device would do a better job in handling these watches.

Mine is 10 days old has been used a lot for running, it has no marks at all, rather shiny actually. How old is your device?

It was that way out of the box. I used to do watch and jewelry work and repairs and I know this was just sloppy manufacturing work.

If you're not careful with the charger, the probes will scratch the back.
