Barcodes - Screen switches off when I turn my wrist

So I try to scan a barcode at the super market and once I turn my wrist the direction of the scanner, the screen switches off. I try it multiple times to make it work and I get weird stares from the people around. 

 

When paying NFC and turn my wrist towards the scanner, the screen remains on.

Please do the same with the app "Barcodes".

Still doesn't work. Will the company update this ? I guess it's a super easy fix.

Barcodes is a 3rd party app, so Fitbit isn't responsible, and the developer hasn't updated the code in almost two years...I used this app faithfully on my Versa's and loved it, but now it works only partially on the Sense...There is no way to switch barcodes, so all you can use is the first barcode you entered...I wish the developer would update the code...

He gave up or what ? It seems a very simple app with no other functionality other than displaying barcodes. 

And why fitbit doesn't want to build such an app that's like 21kb of size ?
