Used to be able to swipe down for sync and see battery life. Can’t find it now on the new app version. Any ideas how I can see this on the app - I’m now physically going to the charger to check status- kind of annoying.

I’ve been trying to find this too. So far I haven’t had any luck.
Ok. On your phone, there’s a symbol in the top left that shows the connected devices. Tap on that. Then tap on the device name you want to see. Hope this helps.
Best AnswerOk so there’s an icon of a battery and i have seen it say medium or today full. Which is ok I guess. I really prefer the statistical readout.
Thanks for the info.
Yes, took me a while to find that. The percentage info is critical. Mine says medium when it was at 28 percent. I put it on a charger for half an hour and it still said medium. I eventually realized it wasn’t charging. Moving it to another outlet, waiting a bit, it says medium. It’s very difficult to tell if it’s charging properly. I hope they fix this loss of functionality soon!
It's very important to have back the battery percentage in order to know when it is 100% charged. If I slightly move the Sense when I push the buton to activate the display, then the pins missalign and the display says "slow charging". The USB cable charger for Sense is very, very, very and extremely (!) sensitive to moves! I'm on the 3rd cable. If I move the cable to view the status, then a shortcircuit appear and one of the small pins who charge the watch is melting (that at only 300 mA!)
So, I want back the battery percentage, too!
I agree. The charger is very sensitive. If I get the messsge charging slowly, I take it off and wipe the charger and the back of my Fitbit. Usually, when I connect them again, it charges faster. It still takes about an hour to charge to 100%. It depends on how low it was. Hope this helps
Best AnswerThank you! I didn't know it was there in the device itself. I really appreciate your comment - I had thought there was now NO way to find the percentage. Thanks! very helpful!
Best AnswerMake sure you chat with FitBit and ask them for this feature back.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Make your voice heard.
You have to tell them you looked at the User Manual, and the new version of the App deleted the function which you found handy.
Other things deleted:
Small flashes (like when you get 8 hours of active steps, or 10,000 steps, or all 3 metrics you were working towards). This pretty much removes these minor positive reinforcements for meeting goals.
You don't even get "You have # days of your goal" step streak messages anymore.
I really don't like the new changes. Might be time to leave FitBit and go to a different fitness app.
Yes, the battery percentage is very important. Because it gives me extra time to be able to gauge when I need to charge my battery again. A couple of nights ago my phone died.
I was very busy had some very important things to do and there was no way to accurately tell how much charge the battery had.
There are only a couple measurements to measure the battery's charge and it's complete guess work.
This status is not accurate either. I couldn't say this with any stronger emphasis. Please put the battery charging percentage back on the Fitbit app!!!!!
