Is it better to let the battery go down to a certain level before recharging?

It's been generalized that it's better for battery health to stay within the 20-80% range. They say that for EVs, I do it with my phone, and doing it for the Sense. I just top off while shower and getting ready. 30 minutes can get over 60% charge. Now do I go above 80% and below 20% sometimes, sure, but it's only once in a while.

Hi @Tracysusan - what @eezeepee says is common and Fitbit tell you when the battery reaches 25%.
However it depends on the circuity in the watch as to what of the 0-100% of the actual charge of the battery is made available for use.
Batteries are often quoted for a number of charges. Have a look at the discussion
How best to get the maximum longevity from the watch battery?
