Fitbit Sense has black screen, does not switch on and heats up when plugged in.

Have tried all the tips given by the community but impossible to start the watch.

I have the same issue.  Did a chat twice, and each time was informed that I was being transferred to a specialist.  The first time my call got dropped.  The second time I was told to wait for an email with further instructions.   The email never came and that was 16 hours ago!  I'm going to try a phone call today.

Thanks for your message. Should you get any instructions from Fitbit, I would appreciate it if you could share.

I will be happy to do so Barbara. To the point, I was asked to detail my
activities and procedure with the tracker. I was asked as well to send
pictures which I did. Have not heard anything back as yet.

Hi @BBarbara @jazalx @Niteryder - unfortunately if your watch gets hot when charging stop immediately, it has internal damage (could be due to water getting in) which is not repairable. It should not be worn either.

If it is still under warranty it can be replaced.

Hi there - same!  I’ve also done everything suggested - managed to get it working for one day - but now it’s lost power (from full charge to zero in just a few hours) now black screen only for a day - nothing works. This has been a perfectly well performing watch until Friday - it seems many people are having the same problem - there must have been a software update that’s caused this (I’m reasonably tech savvy - this does not perform like a hardware issue). Frustrating to know what to do next….
