For about 2 weeks now I've been noticing even if my phone is right next to me my fitfit will show a phone w a line thru it then when I go to my Bluetooth it says I need a app to pair which I've have obviously on to use this. I've force closed reboot and it seems to come back to same issue. I can say after 1.5 yrs my blink notification finally shows on my fitbit. Is there a recent update causing Bluetooth issues?

Have you done a recent update t. The Sense, fitbit app, or your phones OS?
Yes your Fitbit App manages the Bluetooth pairing and communication. The Sense can not be paired through your phones Bluetooth..
Open the fitbit app, you should get a request to allow to pair the tracker.

Just to add the heart rate afib. I was fine before that now it occasionally shows a Phone w a line thru it. I've never had issues w Bluetooth and have had same phone for 3 yrs

From what I can tell, the fitbit app/phone checks to see if they can communicate every 10 seconds. If it fails we get this symbol. Yesterday, leaving phone in the car, I went into a store and noticed the disconnect symbol. As I approached the car my wrist started vibrating as my buffered messages where sent.
As for the phones BT I've never seen it say that my fitbit tracker was connected. The tracker simply shows as a trusted device.
Is your Sence still showing as a trusted device under your phones BT?
Is the Sense able to sync through your phone?
Afib is detected through fitbit's cloud services.

It is. I can be literally next to my phone and it shows this. It's only been for past 2 weeks or so and nothing has changed with my phone. Could be some glitch who knows I'll keep watch and if still issues ill call tech support.
