Bluetooth connection to heart rate chest strap and music storage

After my own personal experience with inaccurate heart rate readings (Ionic) and research on wrist heart rate monitors, it would be nice if the new Fitbit Sense allowed for connection to wearable chest heart rate straps or arm bands. While the wrist heart rate trackers found in most smartwatches are great for low level activities, for those who are avid runners or do high intensity workouts regularly, not having the ability to collect real time accurate heart rate data is disappointing. Fitbit smartwatches are great fitness devices, but adding the ability to connect to external heart rate trackers might attract more hardcore athletes who looking for complete and accurate data.

Additionally, I noticed that the new Fitbit Sense has no internal storage for music. Is this correct? The whole reason they added internal GPS on the Fitbit sense and Versa 3 was so people could leave their phone at home when exercising etc. It seems like now people will still have to bring their phone if they want to listen to any music which defeats the purpose.

Have you downloaded the user manual @sengwesse

The Sense has internal storage and the option to connect headphones.

I do not see the option to add personal music but Deezer and Pandora do store there songs internally.

As for a chest strap, I don't think this will happen.

Have you added your vote? It doesn't seem very wanted with <500 votes over 6 years.

Totally agree. The, by almost all accounts, bad heart rate sensor on the Sense AND the fact that you cannot pair it with a chest strap is the single biggest thing preventing me from ordering a Sense right now. These are basic things that you need to nail if you're creating a wearable.

I apologize, I was referring to internal storage for music which was a feature in the Ionic. Yes I assume that the sense has internal storage to download and store apps and watch faces. Also, while I am sure that some people have subscriptions to Deezer and Pandora, they aren't the most mainstream of music streaming services. Additionally it's nice to be able to add my own personal music for runs if I don't want to purchase subscriptions to Deezer or Pandora.
