Bring back auto increment/decrement of daily step goal

I bought a flex back in 2013. Moved away from fitbit when it died to try something different for a bit, but returned this year, 2021, with a Sense. One of the features I liked most was when I hit my daily goal, my steps would auto increment the next day by so many steps. If I didn't hit that goal, my daily steps would decrease for the following day. Why was this feature removed? Or is this hidden away somewhere in the settings? And no, I don't want to go in and change my daily step goal all the time. This used to be done for me based on my previous day results. That's more motivating in my opinion.

Any chance we can bring that back?

Hello @Neo9 and welcome to the Help forum.  You joined Fitbit a few months before I did.  Funny, I don't remember that feature, just the Premium Trainer feature that existed when Premium was on the web dashboard.  I suspect that feature was removed in one of those ways that Fitbit is "constantly striving to improve its products and features."  It isn't hidden anywhere in the settings.  You can always start a Feature Suggestion.  My gut tells me that it won't be coming back.

You're probably right. The only reason I remember it was because with the Flex, it was just a bunch of dots right. Each dot I think equaled 2000 steps so when you hit 10000 all 5 dots would be lit up and vibrate the watch and celebrate your victory. The only way to see what your actual total was, was via the Web dashboard. Not even sure there was a mobile app back then because you needed a USB Ant+ dongle.

Anyway, it was rare that I ever hit 10000 steps but for my wife, she would hit it daily, but her goal would change each day. Mine on the other hand would decrease, trying to get me to reach my goal and then push me to do better the next day.
