Calories not been calculated the correct way

I am confused regarding the way that calories are being calculated. How can a walk session burn more calories than a workout one? I am attaching some examples from my status in the link https://1drv.ms/u/s!Aug2y99qVJYdldtJx7-IwyePw2wJHg?e=EleNLI.

Thanks,

Hi, @egioka the overwhelming majority of calories you burn are you BMR calories - the calories you burn just keeping yourself alive.  Exercise adds a little, but not a lot.  That is why if you want to lose weight you are usually advised that it cannot be done simply by adding exercise.

In the cases you note, although your heart rate is raised more during your workouts than your walks, the average heartrate was not a lot higher and your walks were longer.  That is the reason the calories calculated for the walks were very slightly more.

I hope this helps to explain it.  Welcome to the forums!
