Can't load clock face on Sense

Can anyone help please. I've got the sense fitbit and every time I try and load a new clock face, it either keeps ticking over forever or comes up as unable to load.

I have reset the watch, uninstalled the app, turned my phone off and on, forgot the Bluetooth and reconnected and it still doesn't work!!

I contacted the dev of a watch face that will not install on my Sense and he told me that I'd either have to factory reset the watch or try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. They even talked about how buggy Fitbit software is. I won't mention the dev or watchface though. Btw, it's a watch face I paid for and still can't get it to install. It used to but not anymore. Pixel 4 XL

Hi @westsidekilla1. It's good to see you.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the Fitbit app. I'm sorry for the difficulties that you've had with your Sense and the process to change the clock face. Our team is always gather our members feedback to work on our products and improve your experience with them. Be sure that your comments won't be the exception and they'll be passed along. While you mentioned to have this issue with a 3rd party clock face, let me know if the same happens with a Fitbit clock face. This will help me to investigate on my end.

I have the same problem - not just with clock faces but with apps. I tried to install "Coach" . I get the same error on clock faces and apps -- error "Unable to Install   Installation failed, please try again later."  - nothing seems to work.  now i can't stop the process. it's just an endless error loop

Hi @ToyMater. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for confirming the name of the app that isn't installing correctly. I'm sorry that you're having this experience and I'd recommend to give a try to the following steps:

  1. Remove the Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Restart your watch.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Select your Sense and follow the onscreen instructions.

Once your watch is connected, try installing an app or changing the clock face one more time on the Fitbit app.

I did. No results. Logged out and logged back in. No change. I just received the Sense last week.

I tried what you suggested before even reading this post. Nothing works. I had it program so that the clock face was always on just like an ordinary watch. That is gone. Not only that, I cannot view any displays. They are blank. And yes it is synced to my iPhone.

I tried all of that with no results. I am very disappointed and frustrated. It is a new Sense. Less than a week old. I received last Thursday and it worked fine until about an after I got up.
