I have a new Sense. I'm connected to a Samsung Galaxy S20. The sense notifies me when I have a new message but the only option I have is to clear or open. When I choose open, it opens it on my phone and not the watch. How do I fix this?

That's how it works, the watch gives you a summary, and a preview if you click on it, but not necessarily the whole message if its long.

Hi, That's already good feedback.
In which case its probably a setting on your phone that's not exposing the message.
Check the options on your phone for notifications from what ever app that is not making the text available to the Fitbit App.
If the Fitbit App can't see the text it can't send it to the watch.

So, I reached out to tech support and this is what they told me and it worked:
Then, sync your Sense and test the notifications.
On my S20 5G I found it under Notifications > In App Notifications Settings
I was turned off on my phone. I turned it on, sync'd the fitbit, had my husband send me a text and voila! I could read and reply to it!
