The Fitbit app is happy for me to set an hourly activity goal even if I have the activity reminders switched off. It will accurately track and report the data.
However the Fitbit Sense will not display my hourly activity progress unless I turn on reminders. I thinks there is no goal set, and tells me to open the app and set a goal. I think this is a bug but does everyone else have this behaviour?

If your referring to turning of the reminder to move. I'll have to try this.

I am having this exact issue as well. I don’t want the reminders to move as they can be distracting during meetings or wake me up if I have a day off. But I do like to see if I have made the 250 steps an hour.

@QtOne75 In your case, there are two other settings that will help you instead of turning off the reminders to move. The Do Not Disturb (for meetings) and Sleep Mode (for sleeping in). They both stop notifications. You makes these changes in the Quick Settings on your Sense (swipe to the right) and you don't need to reach for your phone.
