I just purchased my new Sense and am dismayed by the inaccuracy of the step counter. I noticed right off that the step count showed an elevated step count than it should be. I noticed that when I washed my hands it counted 25 steps! Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity or make the step count during daily living (not on a exercise mode) more accurate???

Hi @greensmith - movements of hands can be detected as steps, however there is a setting for dominant or non dominant arm.
Setting it to dominant will reduce the number of steps detected as it filters some more of them.
False steps is not entirely a problem because it is measuring activity which goes to calculating other things like calories.
Steps may not be exact but at the end of the day it pretty much is accurate but can never be precise.
If you want measure your steps precisely you need a step counter, or possibly use an ankle strap but then it's difficult to see the time or notifications unless you are very bendy !
