Cannot get any notifications to show on my new Sense ..

Hi all .. Im not getting any notifications on my new Sense. Ive gone to account .. tapped on my photo, tapped on Watch icon, tapped on Notifications where I have read I should see the the icons for Whatsapp, imessage etc but nothing comes up to select .. it just stays on the same page and doesnt move on ? 

Ive restarted the watch and app with no joy, the phone seems to be set up correctly, so I am totally stumped at the moment

Hi Sarah!

In phone settings, you have to set "Allow notifications" to on, Alerts notificatins centre to on, and show previews to always for each of the messanger apps.

Hi Sarah,

Do you have an iPhone? If so, you’ll have to reinstall the Fitbit app.

I’ve had the same problem and the reinstallation worked for my iPhone (12).

Thank you Mickey .. I will try this next as every other possible solution has drawn a blank .. Its so frustrating. I wouldnt mind if I got i messages and not Whatsapp for example, at least Id know I was getting somewhere .. But as it is, absolutely nothing is coming through !

Do you lose all your data by uninstalling and reinstalling ?

I didn’t lose any data, I do recommend to sync before reinstalling the app!

Thank you Mickey .. That worked, uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no data loss and up popped WhatsApp and imessage !!

Just need to figure out Facebook Messenger messages which are refusing to come up .. I will keep plugging away and hopefully will get there soon ..
