Charging cable pins recessed, band clasp came off, what next?

I've worn Fitbits for 5+ years now, no complaints. I changed from the Versa 2 to the Sense for the GPS capabilities. I had the Sense for about 4 months and one of the pins on the charging cable got recessed so it would not charge. Ordered a replacement off Amazon, no big deal. (although the engineering on the charger is pretty poor). Now the button clasp on my wristband came off and won't stay in place. Ordered a replacement off Amazon and it broke after an hour (seriously, not Fitbit's fault, but still...). I try to get active to relieve stress not have a device add to it. Anybody have luck with a better Sense replacement band? I found the original band clumsy when trying to feed the excess back under the band.

I bought the Fitbit sport band and loved it.
I have since changed to a band/case from spigen and it’s like an otter box for my sense. I used the TPU Thermoplastic Polyurethane cover but it got moisture under the plastic and I kept having to pop it off to clean the sense. This protector is great. It’s just like the one I use for my iPhone.
it is very rugged and stiff. Took some getting used to but it’s like armor for sure, and the 4 corners of the bezel are not exposed (known weakness of the glass) Now, I don’t even feel it.

It does render the ecg and eda useless unless you pop the pebble out. I never use those functions anyway.

I went thru 3 chargers within a year or so for the same reasons. One or more of the pins recessed or disappeared, no matter how gentle I tried.
