We've been waiting for years now for Citibank and TD bank to be added to Fitbit pay. Makes me think maybe Fitbit pay isn't secure enough for them?? They do BOTH participate in Google Pay. It seems reasonable that they either be added to Fitbit Pay for Sense 1 users, or Sense 1 be updated to have Google Pay. We paid $250 for these watches and would expect the premier banks to be included.
I was lucky enough to have a Chase account, but have to disable it on Fitbit because my Sense had tp be returned for warranty and I'm afraid the info can be accessed since I was unable to factory reset it. I will probably ask for a new card with Chase, but that wouldn't be necessary if Citibank was available!
I think Fitbit blames Citibank and vice versa, but you would think a few phone calls could straighten it out.

@cinders9 Individual banks decide whether or not they want to participate in Fitbit Pay. When you look at the Fitbit Pay Bank list, it looks like a lot of US banks. There are over 11,000 banks in the US, indicating that most do not participate. I bank with Navy Federal Credit Union and it doesn't participate. When I asked about Fitbit Pay, they politely explained that because the participate in Google/Apple/ Samsung Pay, they have no plans to participate in Fitbit Pay.

I know it won't happen, especially now that they seem to have given up on it, which why I'd like to see the first Sense upgraded to have Google pay. Shouldn't have to spend another 250 for a feature the first one should have had in the first place.

@cinders9 The Sense was released in 2020, but Google's acquisition wasn't complete until 2021, so that explains that. Many people thought the acquisition was complete before it actually was. I came across one site that made it sound like the Sense 2 and Versa 4 have a different OS from the Sense/Versa 3. It makes me wonder if Fitbit can even put Google Pay on the Sense and Versa 3 and that would make a lot of people happy if they could.
