Connecting my new watch to my account ... questions

I just received the Fitbit Sense as a gift. I've been using the Blaze for years.  I want to get the watch setup and connected to my account. But I was wondering, since I already have a watch that I use daily and this being an upgrade (and I already have an account and app on my phone) ... is there anything special I need to do, or a new app I need to download in order to properly set up the Sense?

 

I guess my concern is possibly losing any data ... the app not reading it correct or trying to connect to my old device, etc.

 

Any insight is appreciated.

No, from what I experienced in the past..no data has been lost.

@ksubs    I want to add that you don’t need to remove your Blaze from your account in order to add the Sense.  You can keep it for those dirty jobs.

 

My husband has a Blaze and a Sense on his account right now.  Some companies won’t allow employees to wear devices like a Sense for security reasons.  He switches between the two devices every workday.
