Biking mileage shows in exercise tracking but is not being added to mileage on dashboard. I’ve already called in and no one seems to be able to tell me why or how to correct this. Has anyone had this problem or successfully corrected it?

The daily mileage on phone app includes only walking/running; i.e. only step-based activities, not biking.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Interesting! When I called in for assistance, no one told me this. They were trying to find a resolution. Also, following a bike ride steps are included in the dashboard.

I hadn't thought about steps from bike ride, but it doesn't surprise me they are included in daily total.  I'm not a bike rider, but I would expect steps while biking would be minimal, coming just from vibrations to your wrist, I suppose depending on the smoothness of the riding surface, paved street vs. mountain trails.  I also wouldn't be surprised if you get daily distance from those pseudo-steps, but not from the GPS biking distance.

Yes, you get unearned steps while cycling, but not distance. Before I upped my walk game, I could be over 10,000 steps for the day due to biking, but under 2 miles distance. I'm guessing since the vibration "steps" are spread out and not back to back, distance doesn't respond?
