I received the Sense as a Christmas present and was really excited. However I have had no end of problems with it:
- Several times a week it fails to sync and I have to remove it from the Bluetooth devices on my iPhone and then pair it again.
- Heart rate is completely inaccurate and I’m not talking 10% off versus a heart rate monitor but putting me back into resting heart rate when I am 30 mins into a spin class and at peak. My heart rate charts for exercises look like a complete zig zag as a result.
- I’ve been running outside with GPS on since getting the device and it hasn’t calibrated my stride at all a I am regularly showing as 20% off on my treadmill distance run when I use it inside to track a treadmill exercise session.
I am so disappointed in this as it was a gift to replace an old Charge 3 that had broken but was previously much more accurate in every way than the Sense. Was the sense rushed out to market? Will these issues be addressed by updates? At this stage I just want to return it.
