Distance goal showing as 2 different values in app and dashboard

Hello all,

I've been having this issue where the app and dashboard shows different values for my daily activity distance goal.

If I save 8 miles in my app, it shows as 12.87 miles in my dashboard.

And if I change it to 8 miles in my dashboard, it shows as 4.97 miles in my app.

I tried installing the app on a different phone and had the same exact issue. So I know it's not an issue with my phone or cached data.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Thanks in advance!

@ AZmomof3: The app is showing 8 miles while the dashboard shows 12.87 miles. But 8 miles converted to kilometers happens to be 12.87.

So it seems like there's some kind of error in the code that's converting miles to kilometers between the app and the dashboard even though they both show miles as the unit.

This is a bug since a long time ago.

1 mile = 1.609 km

8 mile = 12.87 km

4.97 mile = 8 km

Fitbit messed up the units.

No. It is not an issue of miles vs kilometers. It is showing 2 different distances in 2 different places. I don’t know how to post screenshots or I would show you.
