Hey everyone, I’ve been on the search for a smart watch that can monitor my temperature. I have really bad seizures and my temperature always spikes right before a seizures starts, so I’m looking for a way to monitor it and get an alert if it changes. I know the Fitbit sense has the ability to monitor ur skin temperature when your sleeping and I’m looking for any advice on if it’s possible to use this feature but during the day. I don’t currently have the watch, I’m trying to do some research before I purchase anything. Any help would be appreciated 😊

I don't think the Sense is what you are looking for. It can only track variations in your skin temperature when you are sleeping. It doesn't monitor during the day and doesn't have an alert feature if it goes outside a certain range. Note also that it only monitors skin temperature. It does track core temperature but you have to manually take your temperature and log it into fitbit.

Unfortunately Sense can't do what you are asking for, It's abit too difficult for their engineer to figure this one out. They have been trying for several months now.
It takes a whole night for the current algorithm to figure out skin temp and SpO2. SpO2 needs an additional 1 hour after you wake up for it to give you a value. They might maybe figure it out after a year or so but it will be placed behind a paywall.
Try searching for "tracker with continuous temp tracking alert" on google.

Actually @HSS79 stirring the day, in different air temperature, then add wind, any skin temps will be useless.
My forehead temp, after coming in from outside today was at 91.4. Then another person who had the heat in the car up, had a skin temp of 101. 2.
It is not that the can't, it is that the readings will be more useless then the stair counting, which because of variations in the atmospheric pressure, at best is not great.
