Does Sense store music files as per my current fitbit device or do I have to use Deezer or Spotify?

Thinking of upgrading my ionic but getting mixed messages re Sense. Would anyone who has upgraded from Ionic to Sense let me know if it is worth it? And I can not see on the blurb whether music files can be saved to the device as I have on my Ionic or are you forced down the external app route?

Hi @SunsetRunner - if you want to replace the great Ionic and want on the watch music a Versa 2 is the way to go. The Sense is a great watch but currently suffers from a number of issues, faulty chargers, no on watch music without a Deezer subscription, [Spotify requires a phone even with premium], and the app is most disappointing [thought to be fair Sense is not listed as supported on their site], inaccurate heart rate and floors and recently due to a bug, poor battery life. Apart from the GPS a Versa 2 would be a much better choice if you wish to stay with Fitbit.

Hi @SunsetRunner.

It's not possible to store your own music on the Sense. However it's possible to store offline music with Pandora and Deezer, Spotify doesn't allow offline playback (it's basically just a remote control).

Thank you for the feedback. I may hold off on replacing. My ionic is still
working great accept for the decreasing battery life. A common Google
method for trying to force upgrades.

Thanks. That does. Not work for me so I may just stick with the ionic till
Google completely destroy it battery life then move on to another product.
Sad as I have supported Fitbit since day 1 but I think the sale to Google
have destroyed it.

HI Neil, yes hold on to the Ionic like a treasure, forgot to mention the very poor vibrate on a Sense.

The battery issue may not even be a watch problem if it was sudden.

The newer watches are suddenly experiencing it after updates, so if you did an update recently that might be the issue. [ It can even be influenced but a newer Fitbit App release]

Cheers, I convinced the battery life is being managed down to try a force
an upgrade.
