Can't get the ECG to work on my Sense
Just keeps saying open app and set up

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I recommend doing the following: open your Fitbit mobile app, tap on your profile picture, tap on Sense, Apps and check if ECG app needs an update or has the requested permissions. Some apps require certain permissions in order to work properly. For more information, see How do I add apps to my Fitbit device?

- Restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
- Force stop the Fitbit app and restart your phone.

I’m having the same issue and have spoken with the “Live Chat” and they can’t help me! They told me to go to the tab and do the ECG intro… that doesn’t even show up for me! It’s basically like the Charge 5 tells me to go to my phone to complete the setup of the app and my phone thinks that the Charge 5 doesn’t even have the app installed (even though it DOES!)

I had the same problem, but when I restart the sense and on my smartphone force stop the app fitbit (android) and restart my smartphone, the ECG app on my sense worked and it no longer asks me to open the application on my smartphone, thanks.

Same issue. Apparently they don't feel obligated to fix issues after they already have your money because here we are over one year later and they still haven't fixed the problem. Well, they can take their garbage back in that case. This overpriced and unsupported trash is going back to the store for a refund.

Same. The device tells me to setup on the phone app, the notification it sends on the phone to open the app brings me to a page saying it's already installed and to start it from the fitbit. Back to the fitbit and it tells me to set up on my phone and sends another notice that opens the app. Around and around in circles. Not playing these games where they get there money for GLITCHY products ad dont want to do the work to earn that money and are made aware of issues and over a year later it's obviously not been something they care about fixing. I'll be giving them their trash back and getting my money. Nothing more irritating than cash grabs that don't function properly straight out of the box. Maybe in another ten tears or so they might decide to sell a product that functions as advertised and/or push an update that fixes the sloppy development in a timely manner. Yall reported this in 2022 and over a year later in 2023 I buy one and it's still an issue. Unacceptable.
