Hello everyone. I would just like to know if the ECG function is at least scheduled to be activated in Argentina or it is not something that is in Fitbit's plans.
I have a Fitbit Sense, and the built-in features that make it different from other models are mostly disabled, making it a little "sense" smartwatch in my country.
Thank you very much. (November 2022)

Muchas gracias. (Noviembre 2022)

I’m not a Fitbit employee, so I don’t have any information on Fitbit’s attempts to get this feature approved in other countries.  Sorry.

Hello @Marcos1983 and welcome to the Community.  The EGC app is a medically regulated feature.  It needed approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for release here.  It needs approval from the equivalent government body for release in Argentina.

Hello Laurie.
Yes, I know all that. My question is if these functions ARE SCHEDULED to be activated in Argentina in the near future.
The Fitbit Argentina website currently promotes the Fitbit Sense 2, since in our country, the functions that make a difference in this smartwach are disabled. Doesn't make much "sense" does it?
Could you let me know if Fitbit is talking/negotiating with the Argentine government or equivalent to enable them? Chile (neighboring country) has had them since last year.
Thank you very much!

I'm sorry, Laurie. It was my mistake. I thought that having gone to the "Support" section, the questions were answered by Fitbit staff. I guess I just have to wait for the functions to be activated at some point so that the Sense finally has "sense". Thanks!
