We are aware that Customers who attempted to update their device yesterday may have noticed the EDA app failed to install. This issue has been resolved.
For those who installed and now notice the EDA app is missing, please go to the app gallery and download the app manually.

Another bug. The Fitbit app is showing an update available for the EDA scan. Selecting "Update" gives the familiar red line which progresses at a snail's pace only to come to the end and repeat.
The update process seems to then hang and we are back where we started. Tried rebooting the Sense and phone numerous times with the same result. Android 10 on a Note 10+.
Perhaps we should form a Beta Testers Anonymous club for frustrated users.

Same for me but worse...
i tried to uninstall and tried to install again but is impossible .. so now i don't have the EDA app on my Sense 😞

The app updates from the mobile app seem to be either very fast or so slow you may as well go boil a pot of coffee. I haven't found any real rhyme or reason for that,.

It took me a few attempts to update.
Using Android 11 on Pixel 4XL.
First few times I've left my phone in the pocket or a table. Didn't work.
I did again, but kept the screen on whilst the update happened. Took some 15 minutes.. when I gave up I clicked on the app to see if anything would happen.. got a message that I had no WiFi connection, the Fitbit app refreshed the screen and the EDA Scan app showed as updated when I went back to the app list.
I think it just takes a long time and you have to keep the phone on and awake throughout.

I have the same problem. I can install other apps but not de EDA scan app. It takes a few minutes and then when it is at 100% it seems to restart the installation and then when it is at 100% again it just stops and shows the "install" button. There is no EDA Scan app to be found on my tracker. Should it come with the sense by default btw or do you have to install it manually always?
Just in case details of my phone:
Oneplus 6, model A6003
Android 10, Oxygen OS 10.3.5
I'm from europe (the netherlands)

I got my sense this morning and it didn't have the EDA scan on it when I pulled it out of the box and got it set up . I looked it up in the sense manual available for download, thinking I had to install the app myself...tried to install and it won't. Pretty frustrated

Also my issue! I got the Sense this morning and it wasn't preloaded with the EDA app. Have attempted to download it multiple times unsuccessfully. Any idea what's up ?

The app downloads and attempts to install, however after 4 minutes it does not show as installed, the install button still shows there, with no error message. Any help apprecieated.

Yes, tried that, still didn't work. Another app did update correctly.
I'll amend my previous beta testers remark: we are alpha testers.

Once installed how do I use the app. Do I need to be on a specific clock face like SPO2? Thanks

Not a specific clock face. You have to select the app on the watch and follow the instructions.

I haven't gotten that far. The app itself will not install, let alone an update to it.

My sense came with it installed. It just won't update. Maybe it depends on region? - I'm in Canada.
