Hi!

So, since 48 hours, my EDA quick scans are not logged in the app. Why, and how can I resolve this?

Hi @myriam4psy. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for letting me know that your EDA quick scans aren't logging correctly. To work on this together may I know if you were able to complete the quick session? Did you log your reflection? Also, is your watch syncing correctly with the Fitbit app?

In the meantime, please give a try to the following:

  1. Check if your watch and the Fitbit app are updated.
  2. On the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Sense > Apps and verify all permissions are enabled for EDA Scan. If you see an update for this app, download it.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone
  4. Restart your watch.
  5. Tap on the EDA Scan app on your Sense and complete a Quick Scan one more time. Make sure to sync to see your details in the Fitbit app.

I look forward to your reply.

So, my data was synced after 72 hours, all in a sudden. Not sure why.

Hi @myriam4psy. I hope you're doing well.

That's great news! Thanks for keeping me posted and I'm glad that your data synced with the Fitbit app. It seems your Sense needed more time to sync and while this shouldn't happen again, you're free to reply back if there is anything else I can do for you.

Have a good day. 😊

I finally managed to get my EDA quick scans to work again!  Although the 5-step instructions noted by LizzyFitbit stopped working for me some time ago, I found the solution at https://thedroidguy.com/fitbit-sense-not-syncing-issue-1162881.

I didn’t have to go through all the steps listed by thedroidguy; I simply deleted the app from phone and reinstalled it.  Lo and behold, my EDA scans started syncing right away.  Of course, I had to redo a few app settings, but most of them were retrieved from the Fitbit servers.

Update:
After reinstalling the app on my phone, two EDA quick scans synced. Now, it’s not syncing again. Once again, LizzyFitbit’s 5-step fix isn’t working either 😞 😞 😞

Hi there, @andrewerdely.

Thanks for the detailed information, and the steps you've tried prior to posting. I'm sorry that you're having this inconvenience. To look into this, may I know when this started to happen? Does the same happen when doing guided sessions? What is the model and OS version of your phone?

In the meantime, let's try reconnecting your watch to the Fitbit app:

  1. Forget the Sense from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone one more time.
  3. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  4. Select your Sense, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Once the process is done, open the EDA Scan app on your watch and complete a Quick Scan.

Thank you for your detailed response. My EDA quick scans stopped syncing
regularly at least a month ago. The other mindfulness sessions have always
synced just fine.

I have an iPhone XR with iOS 16.5.1 (c).

Very recently, my EDA quick scans started syncing again without any
intervention on my part. If I have problems again, I will try your
suggestions.
