Hi all -
Got the new Sense and cannot see how to change the order the activties appear in on the device - could order, add and delete activties on my Ionic but this feature seems to be absent from the Sense dashboard - particulary annoying as I don't do several of the default activites at the top such as running but regularly do others such as walking and yoga so want them the first activities I see, obviously. Any advice gratefully received and thanks in advance.

After you use one of the Exercise Shortcuts, it automatically goes to the front of your list. This happens for at least 3 workout types. If you prefer, you can just do a quick dummy workout of each of your preferred types, then they will be at the front for you.

This is not exactly a solution, but a workaround. The original question was how to edit (change order, add/delete) the list of available exercises offered. How can this be done?

@SF159753 it doesn't appear this is possible. And once an item appears in the "recent" section at the top there doesn't appear to be a way to remove an item from this list. So in the "Exercise" app on the Sense, you are stuck with the list of exercises that appear, meaning you can't add or remove items from this list. They display in alphabetical order and you can't change this order. Once you use an item it jumps into the "Recent" section at the top, but again you can't change the order or remove items from this list (i believe most frequently used item jumps to the top)

Another option is to add the exercises (up to 4) to the Double Press Shortcuts - you can specify a particular exercise rather than just the exercise app.

@Mike_Croy I found this as well. The only issue I have is when you select an exercise from this shortcut list, it automatically starts the exercise while it still waits to acquire GPS signal. So the timer starts counting before it even has a lock on GPS. On the other hand if you select an exercise in the Exercise app, it first acquires GPS and you can wait to select "Start" until after GPS has been acquired. Minor nuisance but it's there.

@bobby2478 Good point. I also learned that you can press the button and the exercise pauses - this will give you an opportunity to wait for the GPS to connect. This is not the answer to the original question but an alternative.

What a rubbish product the fitbit sense is if you cannot manually change what exercise shortcuts are displayed or the order they are displayed in .

Hi, this isn't working for me. I've done 4 or 5 runs but still have to scroll. Please can you help?
Thanks,
Andy

as someone who used my Ionic for 4 years almost ona daily bases this bugs me a lot. We should be able to edit and reorganize the list of exresises. Its not user friendly at all and its one of the most important functions of the watch. Whoever missed or purposly changed the UX to what we have now , obviously never used a fitbit watch for training. It needs to be fixed.
