Faulty Sense wristband causing lost device AND poor service response

When my Fitbit Sense was only months old, the band detached and the watch was lost somewhere while I was bikeriding. A couple of times, the band had detached and I found it flkoating free inside the sleeve of my shirt. I didn't wear the watch for a short time because of this, but decided to try again. Attached the band, double-checked that it was secure, then went riding. Came home to find no watch. It was practically new. I contacted FitBit with the complaint that the device was lost because of faulty band. The online assistnat put that into a warranty claim for me....12 months later, nothing. No response from FitBit at all. When the watch went missing, it was only a couple of months old. Well within warranty period. Yet Fitbit service was incredibly poor and they have never responded to this warranty claim.
IN the meantime, I was using a Charge5 that I had bought for my husband. And it decidced to brick itself this week, not holding battery charge for more than half an hour, not screen-swiping. Honestly, I gotta say, Fitbit seem to be letting the side down. My Ionic was fantastic, never faulted, until it was recalled due to faulty batteries.
