Faulty band latches, out of the box

I have been suffering the band on my less than 2 week old Fitbit Sense endlessly detaching itself from the device. Tonight as it bounced off the tiled Kitchen floor enough was enough. I watched a few videos on youtube and realised the two latches that secure the band to the device should be sprung. On my device, straight out of the the box, neither latches springs into place. I basically thought, incorrectly, that it was friction and tension that kept the band in place. This is Fitbit's current flagship device and they are not even building them with the springs to keep the band on the device.

 

Awaiting the warranty email to sort things out. Should not have had to do this.

Hi @PhilAMK No, in an ideal world you wouldnt have to do this, but that's what warranties are for. I hope you get it sorted quickly.

I have the same issue with my Fitbit sense sprung loaded latch is not working and band keep coming out from the place any help how to fix it?
