Fit bit didn’t give me an opportunity to renew my insurance, now I’m not insured and need a new one

I paid my insurance last august 13th 2021. I stupidly assumed I’d be given the opportunity to renew it but no. That never happened. 
I went to warrantee my watch today and since it’s not covered they gave me an offer for $35 off of a new one. My boyfriend wants to buy me one of those rings to use instead so if my insurance isn’t renewed and honored I’ll just do yhat.
