Tried to use my Fitbit Sense to pay at the store the other day and it is no longer supported on USAA. Seems they took off USAA after the update

Hello and welcome to the community, @SunsetRunner.
Thanks for posting this situation in regards to Fitbit Pay on your Sense.
The situation is that USAA is not in the list of banks supported by Fitbit pay. I will appreciate your understanding in regards to this situation.

What is the reason USAA is not supported for Fitbit pay but yet it is for Google pay, which we cannot get on this watch. I have been using it to do tap and pay for quite some time and all of a sudden now it's changed since an update.

So what now? I have the same problem with Capital One like many others with many banks and now what are we supposed to do? There's no email support. We can't even switch to Google pay. New Google watch users are having the SAME issues with new watches.....Fitbit has abandoned us with ABSOLUTEY NO HELP!!! Totally disgusted with fitbit and no customer support!

@Jetskijo I have a Capital One card too. I used to be able to use that with Fitbit Pay. Then, at some point, Capital One stopped supporting Fitbit Pay. There is nothing Fitbit or Google can do to compel Capital One (or any other bank) to offer that service to their customers. I still have my Capital One card, but I also have a card from another bank that works with Fitbit Pay.

Hi Amanda, yes I contacted Capital One who has verified this. My other concern is fitbit is saying we can switch to Google pay on the Sense watch which we cannot and after reading many posts, it looks like users buying newer watches with Google pay are having problems connecting their approved bank cards to them too. I have zero confidence in fitbit and unfortunately Garmin uses Garmin pay, same as fitbit pay. How convoluted! I'll just go buy a simple Walmart watch at this point. Enough headaches!

@Jetskijo I've switched to using Samsung Wallet on my phone for contactless payments. I don't always wear my Pixel Watch but, when I do, Google Wallet does work on that device, even with my Capital One card. It's definitely a confusing situation, especially since it relates to a feature that used to work seamlessly.

I had this same issue on my sense and now on my Charge 6. Is there a reason that USAA is not supported? Seems arbitrary.
