Fitbit Sense 13 months old and will no longer charge

Tried to charge my Fitbit this a.m. Nothing but a black screen.  Kind of done with this company since this watch was over $200.00 and only lasted one year.  My cheap Fitbit was still going when I bought this fancy one.  Big mistake.  Fitbit says tough luck, you are out of warranty and therefore no help!

Hi @PamelaDee - the watch may need proper cleaning but often it is a charge cable issue. Before giving up see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Hi.  I was very diligent keeping the back of my watch very clean but did not really pay attention to the charger.  Gave it a clean and it fired the watch up.  Thanks for taking the time to suggest.  The people in customer service did not make this recommendation.

I found the phone number but for some reason they will not allow me to post it. Click on help, contact us, phone and you will see the number. The woman I talked to was very knowledgeable and helpful.
