Fitbit Sense - A watch that cannot even tell the time! Can anyone solve this?

Fitbit for goodness sake focus on the basics first!

Why is there not a simple setting on the phone to change the time? This is a watch for goodness sake? 

Every time I go overseas, I spend hours trying to get the watch to adjust to the right time.

 

Why do you have to have a phone around to change the time on the watch, it's so basic. I can set complex goals on the watch but I can't change the time??! 

 

Why do you need the phone to be connected to the internet before it will update the time on the watch? Madness! What genius designed that logic process? 

 

What do you do if the watch is not adjusting to the phone's time even if the phone is online and synching all the other information? 

 

I have tried synchingthis watch with two separate phones. The watch time refuses to synch with either of them and is locked in my old timezone. There isn't even a reset option other than a full factory reset. 

 

Your 'help' answer is 1. change the phone to manual timezone and reboot. Why should I have to do that? and it doesn't work anyway.

Your other 'help' answer 2. is login online and go to the gear symbol. Great. There is no gear symbol in my online account. Another 10 min wasted. Why should I have to find the internet, go online, log into my account just so my watch tells the right time?

 

Maybe it's remarkable in this day and age but I use my watch to tell the time!! Fitbit you have FAILED to provide the most basic functionality. 

 

Can you please tell me how to fix this. I've rebooted, resynced, restarted the app. Turned my phone for manual. What do I have to do to get this useless piece of electronics to work?

Hi @Filosophical - in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, app settings, turn off automatic time zone and location, enter the correct time zone manually.

 

Sync the watch, if it doesn't fix the time restart both watch and phone.
