Hi, @The_GameFreak_ , welcome to the community, you probably know that your device interprets your arm movements as "steps". This article How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? offers a brief explanation. You might find this third party article of interest.
I hope this is helpful.

AWAKE! for morning in the bowl of light has cast the stone that set the stars to flight.
Best AnswerI've been wearing my Sense for about 1 month. this morning I woke up and see that I already have 35,000+ steps!!. I went to bed after midnight with maybe 100+ steps and woke up with 35,000+ steps. unless I sleepwalk about at least 3 hours, this is quite impossible. I do realize fitbit count arm movements but this is still impossible during sleep.
Fitbit team, is there any explanation/fixes?
Would really appreciate a more specific reply rather than a link to how fitbit count steps.....
