Fitbit Sense battery lasts only 2 days

My sense is brand new but the battery life is only 2 days in sleep mode and without GPS tracking or anything turned on (it's just measuring steps, HR etc. And I have to physically press the left of the screen to turn on the display).

I'm syncing to the Fitbit app on my android phone, not an iPhone.

It's supposed to last 6 days between charging. I don't think I can use GPS tracking for exercise at all with such a short battery life in sleep mode! What is going wrong here? This watch is not useable as advertised. I miss my ionic!

Same issue here pairing with iPhone. Far from what was advertised.

The Sense will have features enabled that use a lot of battery. Turn off those features you do not use.
and it will increase your batttery life dramatically.
example is snore report uses 20% battery overnight for me.

I agree with this.  I've had 3 previous fitbits for many years.  When my last one died, I decided to go full on and get the Sense and Fitbit Premium.  So far I am less than impressed, actually sorry that I purchased this.  The battery is awful.  While my older fitbits would go over a week without a charge, I can barely get two days out of the Sense.  Doesn't "make sense"!  Not what was advertised.  I think I'm done with Fitbit.

I experienced the same after an update a while back. Snoring detection was added and on. Once I turned it off it went back normal charge cycle of about 6 days.

Thanks, I've just noticed it's on so have switched it off and will see how the battery lasts. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks very much for the tip and sharing the link. I've turned the snore report off and it has saved me some battery, but it's unlikely I will make over 4 days until the next charge (still not reaching the advertised 6 days and I'm not using GPS or any other function other than automatics ones like steps and heart rate).

I was fully charged Saturday morning, wore twice at night, no GPS or other extra apps on and at 7% Wednesday am. Didn’t talk on it, did get some text notifications. My question is how does Fitbit advertise 6-8 days? Is that charging, putting on shelf and not having it perform any function at all? Fitbit??

Right here with you. I got my Sense as a replacement for my Charge that broke less than a year in. Now I am having countless issues with my Sense. I honestly don’t think I’ll be sticking with Fitbit much longer. I have to charge my sense everyday after 3 months of use, taken off all the ‘extra’s’ that drain battery - which is a joke considering I got this for the fact it’s a smart watch but I cannot even use any of the features. Poor show!!
