Hi,
I am trying to connect to the hotel wifi where I need to log-in my username and hotel room password, but I could not find the web login page in the app. I cannot connect to the wifi and fitbit sense cannot download and install firmware update.
Is there any work around on this? Thanks!

Hi @braveheart8 you'd need to log on the internet via your computer or smartphone. Usually in a hotel there is a card telling you how to connect or you can call the front desk for help. Once you've gotten online, then you would open your Fitbit app and put in your usual email address and password. There isn't a work around for this - you have to connect to the hotel wifi first. Check with the hotel about getting online and then see how things go. Can you wait until you get home to do this? I hate doing updates and such while connected to a public type wifi.

I know how to connect to the internet, but my question relates to connecting in a WIFI with a "login page" NOT by directly logging-in using the username and password.
I already check the manual of Fitbit Sense and it says it cannot be possible in a public WIFI.
"Sense can connect to open, WEP, WPA personal, and WPA2 personal Wi-Fi networks. Your watch won't connect to 5GHz, WPA enterprise, or public Wi-Fi networks that require more than a password to connect—for example, logins, subscriptions, or profiles. If you see fields for a username or domain when connecting to the Wi-Fi network on a computer, the network isn't supported."
I have a work around though - setting my laptop's MOBILE HOTSPOT. And it worked.

@braveheart8 Fitbit won't connect to WiFi that shows a captive portal (and the majority of the hotel WiFis do so). It is also a case for many other wearable devices. I have the same problem with Amazon Fire Stick which I usually take with me and plug into hotel TVs. Setting a mobile hotspot indeed does work. You can also create a hotspot with your mobile phone to share the hotel WiFi (if your mobile phone supports network sharing, like for example Samsung devices - you can turn them into a router with a single tap).

@t.parker yeah, I agree with you. That's what I am doing now to connect Sense. 🙂
I just realized that Fitbit Sense has a lot of issues - only after I bought it. 😂 smh
