Hey,

I went for a walk this morning and I can see in the dashboard the activity "Walk" have been added automatically  with number of steps and duration however distance shows N/A.Any reason why there is no distance specially that the fitbit Sense has a built-in GPS?

Thanks

@74frederic It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your missing distance on your activity. How was this activity recorded? Via the device or was it automatically detected? Could you share a screenshot of the activities area and for the specific activity? If the walk was detected automatically then distance won't be displayed for it. Try using the activity list on your Fitbit Sense to see more details.

By the way GPS is not always on you need to enable it for specific activities by following these instructions.

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks @AlvaroFitbit ,yes it was automatically  detected so you did answer my question.seems strange that we cant see the distance for that specific activity when I believe the total for the day will take into account the distance of that activity.Below you can see the entry for the  walkScreen Shot 2020-10-05 at 12.38.22 PM.png

while in the main page of the dashboard the distance seems to be available (as well for the daily distance total)

@74frederic thank you for sharing the picture. The steps will count towards the daily distance calculation as distance is calculated by multiplying your steps with your stride length. Not sure but it has always been like this for automatically detected activities but if you start using the GPS you should get more detailed information.

I'll be around.
