Fitbit Sense not accurately tracking steps and workouts

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve been having issues with my fitbit sense not recording the correct amount of steps for a few weeks now, and on top of that, now its not recording my walks/workouts.

reported it and nothing!

getting really fed up with the lack of support after spending so much on the watch.
not happy at all and don’t know how many actual steps i’ve done.

HI @Artwilkie - it's infuriating that the steps bug was introduced and not immediately rolled back but it could have a bearing on recording walks and other metrics. The only workaround which might help is to turn off the phone's Bluetooth, that way the watch can keep track of the activities correctly.

I can’t turn off bluetooth because if I do, the other apps I need ie my fitness pal and my PT app, won’t sync.

so I need bluetooth to remain turned on.

any updates on when fitbit will rectify the issue? This has been going on too long now and very upsetting!

it’s not even logging my walks now!!

@Artwilkie- the alternative is to logoff the Fitbit App, then it can't sync.

Why they haven't rolled back the change that caused the problem has not been specified, nor is the problem published on the official Fitbit Status Dashboard

Seems like Fitbit has rectified the issue as I haven’t had any inconsistencies in the last few days. Steps are correct and not jumping yo and down and walks are being loggedn hoping no more problems 🙏
