Why Fitbit Sense is not receiving new updates but other Fitbits do?

I am worried that, for example, the sleep tracking algorithm as well as others are not properly updated. It is a bit disappointing given that the new Fitbit Sense 2 was released in 2022 and now Sense 1 is forgotten. I bought a new Fitbit Sense 1 in 2021 and find this very upsetting.

The sleep tracking had quit on my Sense months ago.  Now it will not sync with my iphone.  have deleted the app and reinstalled. Have turned off the phone and the watch without success.  Can't even correct the time to use as a normal watch.

It's extremely disappointing to get two years of (very slow and infrequent) updates, then be completely shafted when the new model comes along. It is especially galling when you remember that some features weren't even available at launch, but were added months later. Chances of us seeing another update? Zero. Chances of me buying another Fitbit? Also zero. It can't even track a simple rowing machine exercise
