Fitbit Sense "Blood pressure" in the ECG

I can't see any measurement related to "Blood pressure" in the ECG. However, Samsung and Apple did that. I hope fitbit can add this important function into the ECG app.

How could Fitbit add blood pressure without a cuff to compress the arm?  Even the Apple Watch requires an FDA approved cuff such as QuardioArm in order to monitor BP.

I believe the Galaxy Active 2 can measure blood pressure with the device light sensors, but you first have to calibrate it using a traditional cuff, and possibly have to repeat this every few weeks. How accurate it is though I don't know.

Correct @N8teGee it needs a cuff to calibrate it and then once a month to recalibrate.  Between then it will just be extrapolating data which is next to useless really so it's nothing more than a gimmick.  At least Apple require the use of an approved cuff so the reading will at least be accurate and useful.

Trying to extrapolate a pressure reading without a pressure sensor which also will require a programmable cuff at best would only be an educated guess.

In general all these medical additions are useless for a healthy person and if there is a medical pre condition Fitbit should only be used as a warning guide.
