Fitbit Sense size and charging contacts

Can anyone comment on the size of the sense or versa when compared to older models. Tend to gravitate to biggest size variant of a smart watch were possible. I previously had the versa 1 and wasn't a fan of how small it was on my wrist. Secondly can anyone comment on whether charging pins on back directly touch your skin. The versa 1 is the only smartwatch that caused me a skin reaction due to the metal contacts making direct contact with skin. Plenty of post of people who had similar issues with previous versions

The charging contacts on the back of the Sense are recessed about 1mm in to the watch body.

I had the Sense for about 2 weeks, I absolutely loved it. I unfortunately have a metal allergy, backs of jean buttons, belt buckles, necklaces, etc. I was wearing the watch daily, and found after a little while that there were 4 spots of irritation. I tried moving the Sense up and down wrist and lower arm, but it continued to cause problems.

Hi me again. I've actually put in my idea to the Community board on how they could implement a fix for this so that we would be able to wear the Fitbit Sense without this reaction.

If this seems like a good idea please pass it on so it get noticed!

Thanks for getting back to us @niknaksdaman@sockatume and @SenstiveSense. I'll be happy to assist with your Fitbit Sense size inquiry.

@niknaksdaman, I tried looking for the exact band size but wasn't able to find it. As any other device there always be direct contact between the watch and the skin. If you're experiencing any discomfort while wearing your Fitbit device, it’s very important to review and follow our wear and care tips.

Thank you for your comments @sockatume and @SenstiveSense

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep on visiting the forums.
