Fitbit Sense won't receive text notifications with Samsung Galaxy S10e

I cannot get the Fitbit sense to receive text notifications with my S10e cell phone

 

Did a google search and apparently the Fitbit sense watch is not fully compatible with the S10e -  any solutions before I return the watch ?
