I used to be able to find the small report under the sleep tile restoration section. But the last couple weeks when I check it, it's not there. My app is showing that there is a snow report but I can't open it so and I can't find the turn off snore detect either. I do like it because it's nice to monitor even though I'm usually zero to 3% snoring.

I checked the settings on the sleep tile and I do not have turn off snore detect. It was working great for a few weeks, but couple weeks ago my sleep info is showing a snore report but the snore report is not showing up when I click on the restoration tab. I really do like the future even though it does dream the battery. But it would be nice to turn on and turn off sometime to time if you weren't wanting that data. When it was first activated I did find the turn on snore detect, but now the option to turn it off is not there as you can see in the picture. Can you help me please?

Hey all,

Well after 4 weeks of dodging and uselessness and a new fitbit sent as a replacement because they thought my watch had a battery issue instead of understanding the problem IS with the snore feature. I've now FINALLY had it confirmed. They've removed the snore feature so you won't now see your report if you own the Sense. You can't disable it but no one new can switch it on either - confirmed by my husband who also bought a sense and it isn't there. Fitbit support say the next update is coming and it will rectify this snore battery drain issue and allow us to disable it as well as look at the snore reports if we wish to but they've confirmed they've had sufficient complaints about up to 40% battery decrease from it being switched on. They confirmed that they didn't realise we couldn't turn it off on the sense. It doesn't matter if you factory reset your Fitbit there is no provision on the app to switch it off and nothing in the website either. It's now even been beta removed from the link I was sent as a help item, no one can download the app to their sense now so we are all in limbo with it switched on, can't turn it off, can't read the report and have to charge our watch every 28 hours and we are at the mercy of whenever this app update is released and firmware for our watches. Sorry I can't help further. This is only my second post here but no one is answering you all and we are in all the same boat but I have persisted with twitter support until someone confessed they know about the issue and they're working to fix it but don't know how long it will be. Sorry guys. Best I can do is pass the info on that they say they're working on it.

I opted in to the Snore feature when I was given the option a month ago.  Like others it was draining my battery significantly overnight, as expected, but I left it on.  The last Fitbit update caused my watch face to default to the original watch face, no matter how many times I changed it back to the SPO2 watch face.  So to troubleshoot this, I logged out of the app, cleared all cache and data and uninstalled the app.  Once I reinstalled the app, and logged back in to set everything back up, I noticed the Snore Detect option was now missing from my sleep settings.  The snore report message still shows up when I open the sleep tile, but when I go into the Restoration Tile, the actual report is not there, nor any of the previous ones that used to be there.  The main problem is, my Fitbit Sense is still draining the battery 40% or more every night, as if the Snore Detect feature is still activated, which I’m sure it still is, behind the scenes, but I still don’t have the option in the sleep gearbox, to turn it off.  I also Factory Reset my Sense, in hopes this would correct the battery drain and turn off the Snore Detect feature, but it did not.  Once I relinked the Sense with my App/Account, I’m sure it turned the Snore Detect feature back on the Sense, because It’s probably still active in my account, but as mentioned, I don’t have the toggle in Sleep settings, to turn it off.  Hopefully this missing toggle is resolved soon,  because it sucks having to take the Sense off every morning, to charge it before it can be used, losing the tracking it should be doing on my wrist!  Just adding my experience with this, in hopes that it helps.

Hi @sudhanv. It's good to see you around.

That's great news! Thanks to you for keeping me posted and I'm glad you're able to turn off the Snore Detect feature. I hope you can keep enjoying the experience with your Sense.

For the rest of the members that reported this issue, could you confirm if you're also able to see the toggle for Snore Detect on the Fitbit app? This will help me to investigate and keep our team informed of this situation. To do this, just open the Sleep tile, tap the gear icon at the upper right corner, scroll down and find Detect Snoring.

See you around.

Yes I can finally switch it off!! 5 weeks of daily charging! And it even comes up with make sure your battery is charged to at least 40% before using the feature! I'm so happy I can switch it off. 3% battery used overnight vs 42! Much better!! Thank you!

Yes, I once again have the toggle to turn off the Snore Detect feature, and have.  Thanks for reporting this issue.

@LarisaAR Thanks for joining this thread. Let me share that the Snore & Noise Detect is a new feature that we're trying out, and it's available for certain Sense and Versa 3 members that have an active Premium subscription. I appreciate your interest in using this feature and our team will continue working based on the feedback shared in the forums to improve the experience with our products, as well as make Fitbit more useful for you.

On mine, open the app, click your pic in upper left. Then under where it shows your device, click where it says activity and wellness, then click sleep and snore reports option is at the bottom.

Hi LizzyFitbit,

I still have my 6 month free subscription for Sense, but no snore detection.

Hi there, @LarisaAR.

Thanks for letting me know that you have an active Premium subscription and please let me share that the Snore & Noise Detect is feature that we're testing and for this reason is available only for certain members. I understand that you'd like to use this feature and your feedback is truly appreciated. If the results of this feature are successful, you might see some elements of it in the future.

Best Answer

Yeah, I don’t have the option to turn it off either. And the feature is an absolute battery drain. How do we shut it off? Fitbit Sense with an up to date IPhone 12.

I can already see I won’t be buying another Fitbit. The app functionality and UI is terrible.

Hi there, @Eric661.

Thanks for the details provided, and your efforts while working on this matter. I understand how you're feeling about having this experience with your Sense and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Every feedback shared in the forums helps us to improve our products and features, rest assured yours won't go unnoticed. Because the option to turn off the snore feature wasn't found within the sleep settings on the Fitbit app, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Check if the Fitbit app is updated.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone
  4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  5. Tap the Sleep tile > gear icon at the upper right corner > Detect Snoring.

Hi there, @Denisehunt24.

Thanks for joining this thread and letting us know you're having the same issue. I understand how you're feeling about your watch not holding charge due to the Snore Detect feature. Because your post didn't mention, may I know if your Sense is connected to your Fitbit account? Did you try the steps posted above? Also, do you have an active Premium subscription? Please reply back with these details so I can look into this, as well as continue helping you.
